Apron Design Challenge

Join us in supporting WA’s remote communities

Our team works in many remote communities sharing our passion for cooking. We participate in an annual “Dust UP” sport carnival where we provide delicious meals and workshops.

There is a need for the supply of aprons for the young participants. As money is limited and best spent on food, we need an innovative solution to the problem of supplying everyone with aprons. That’s where Back2Basics comes in.

Investigate, design, produce and implement a solution through the process of up-cycling. Produce an apron prototype (sample), test your solution in a practical sense, reflect on the success of the product and make suggestions for change, before presenting the final solutions at the end of this process in a show case.
